It felt like God was saying:
I want to re-brand Silicon Valley as Revival Valley!
The name for this site, RevivalValley.com, is a direct response to a thought I had (or a word I heard depending on how you label God speaking back to us in prayer), while in fervent prayer for Silicon Valley. I was in Honduras on a two week missions trip, praying for San Jose/Silicon Valley to see all the revival, breakthrough and unity of churches that I was experiencing in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
You see, I am desperate for revival to break out in my hometown, in my backyard. I don’t want to only experience the breakthrough of Christ Kingdom in a far off land, I want to see it my local context. I was actually weeping, earnestly seeking first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, for the Silicon Valley area, and it felt like God responded that it was His heart as well for revival. The next thought I clearly heard, “I want to re-brand Silicon Valley as Revival Valley!”
I firmly believe that God’s eye is on the Silicon Valley, and He has been placing the structures and scaffolding for revival across this area, and that He fully intends to soon breath a renewal in His Church, and usher a revival in this land.
