Making my home in South County I have one son and have lived in the Bay Area since 1989.
In my twenties, I discovered the fresh wind and fresh fire of our Lord Jesus Christ! Since 1996 I have been involved with and have given prayer leadership for multiple Bay Area prayer initiatives as well as teaching both locally and nationally through Harvest Prayer Ministries, an International prayer organization.
In the fall of 2019 I received a fresh stirring of God’s spirit. This stirring tapped into a time when He spoke to me from Nehemiah about helping to rebuild the Wall of Prayer. My experience in prayer leadership for the Bay Area since 1996 caused me to realize that while many great initiatives and efforts had taken place across our Bay, they would come and go. They had lacked sustainability.
That stirring grew into praying and collaborative discussion with others. Then I sensed the Lord prompting me further with His thoughts. Just imagine with me the possibilities that exist for the Bay Area if every church were lit up with a continual chorus of prayer? When I read “City of Prayer” the Unceasing Prayer model really caught my attention! The book described a model of prayer that had the potential to transcend changing leadership across time while rebuilding the wall of prayer that He had spoken to me about earlier in time.
It brings me great joy to be a catalyst for prayer and part of a shepherding team for the Unceasing Prayer Initiative across the Bay Area where together we can see the glory and knowledge of the Lord fill the earth!
