I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. I am married to James and we have a beautiful little boy named Marcus. We have a passion for God and for His kingdom to grow on earth. We love Jesus and we want to be part of the revival God will bring to the Bay Area of San Francisco.
My grandma used to take me to her church (Assembly of God) when I was a child. My parents at the time where not committed to the Christian life style and they did not see a need for attending a church. I used to have dreams and nightmares and see angels and demons as a little girl. My grandma and one of my aunties would always have the right interpretation of these and would help me to not be afraid. My parents had mixed feelings about how disturbing my dreams were. It was easier for them to label me as a drama queen than actually try to understand what was going on.
As a teenager I decided to no longer go with my grandma to Sunday school. I wanted to be an engineer and I felt that I needed to spend more time studying instead of hanging out with people who seemed to me lack any ambition in life. When I was 15 my mom started attending a house church. After a few weeks she gave her life to Jesus. That event dramatically changed the dynamic of our family. For the first time in our lives our house had some joy. My mom then started bringing us along to the house gatherings. I resisted as much as I could. I can’t explain how it happened, but the same joy that captured my mom started to be a part of my life. I gave my life to Jesus and a month later, my two younger siblings and I were baptized. Our house was so joyful that my dad decided to join us in this new journey of following Jesus a few months later. We then started attending a Pentecostal Bible church in São Paulo. We all quickly got involved in ministry. A few years later I was leading the youth group at regional level of our denomination of over 120 churches in Brazil.
After my husband and I got married, we sensed God was leading us to be in the USA. We lived in Monterey for 18 months, and in March of 2018 we moved to the Bay Area. We believe that God is moving powerfully in this region, and we do not want to miss out any what He is doing. We are looking forward to being part of the revival God is bringing to this valley.
